Memory
What Athena remembers about you, how you see, search and correct it
How she remembers
Athena keeps a list of short facts about you: who you are, preferences, projects, people, decisions. She remembers when you ask («remember that…», or /remember) or on her own initiative, and says so in the chat with «✦ Remembered · Undo». She never remembers secrets: passwords, codes, keys, card numbers.
At the end of a chat
When a conversation closes, Athena can save the facts that matter by herself, and the chat shows a summary of what she remembered, with Undo.
Settings → Memory
In Settings → Memory:
- turn memory on or off (off: the facts stay, but Athena doesn't use them);
- the list has pages; with at least 8 facts there is Search, which also finds without accents and capitals;
- correct and remove each fact, add one by hand, empty everything;
- Tidy up now: Athena merges duplicates and removes what is outdated, with a report and Undo (she also does it by herself, at most once a day).
The project wall
Each project has its own memory: in a project chat Athena uses that one, not your personal one. Personal memory never enters a shared chat.
Past conversations
Athena can search your earlier chats, by words and by meaning, and reread them. Ask for example: «what did we decide last week about the quote?».
