Settings

Settings by theme, item by item

How they are arranged

On the left a menu in four groups (on the phone a list: tap an item, and «‹ Settings» takes you back).

You

• Account: name, language, password, connected devices; and, if you are not the administrator, the folders where you can work.
• Voice and appearance: the microphone, Athena's voice, listening, the chat ring, the chat text size, diagnostics (per device).
• Alerts: Telegram, for agents' and reminders' alerts.

How Athena works

• Permissions: the three modes and their names, Custom Lore, web forms, the rules that always apply.
• Memory: the facts, search, tidying, project memories.

Connections

• Connectors: mail, Google, Microsoft 365 (Outlook), your APIs.
• Other AIs: Claude Code and Codex (the administrator), the OpenAI key for images.
• Search (administrator): the internet search, Athena Search (its key, stored encrypted) and the Library's search by meaning (Gemma 2, Qwen3 or off).

Server

• Folders (administrator): the server's working area, your folders and those allowed to each user.
• Skills: ready instructions for precise tasks. In My skills everyone has their own, which apply in their chats: create one with Create with Athena (she asks the questions and writes it), import one from a file (SKILL.md, or a .zip or .skill with the skill folder), edit them (description and instructions) and remove them. A removed skill goes to the Bin, where you restore it or delete it for good; Athena removes one only if you ask, and asks for confirmation first. Server skills are for everyone: the administrator manages them. Each skill has a switch to turn it off just for you, and the Used column says how many times and when last. Download gives the skill's .zip; Personalise makes a copy of a server skill among yours, and in your chats your copy applies. The skills included in Athena are reserved: Athena uses them but does not show their text.
• Tools (administrator): programs to install and MCP servers.
• AI Engine: the engine status; the administrator also chooses the connection, the compaction threshold and the sentinel.
• Users (administrator).

Language

In Account → Language: the interface and Athena are ready in Italian and English; with «Translate» they switch to another language, translated once by the engine and then ready for everyone. Athena anyway answers in the language you write in.

Set work limits in AI Engine: Maximum steps per response (0–300) and Maximum working time per response (minutes) (0–1440). 0 means unlimited. Changes apply while work is running; time spent waiting for your approval or videos is excluded. With /obiettivo, ordinary limits are disabled: Athena continues until the goal is reached, a blocker requires intervention, or you press Stop.
